Our 7th Climb 4 Cancer - Mt. Washington hike is now schedule for Saturday September 16 2017

Climb 4 Cancer
is an o
fficially sponsored fundraising event to benefit the Dana Farber Cancer Institute and the Jimmy Fund.  We have raised over $60,000 in our first 6 hikes.  This year we would like to see if we can surpass that total.

This hike is open to all that would like to participate, donate, or help us raise funds for cancer care and research. All funds go directly to Dana Farber and The Jimmy Fund.
This is a hike up  to the summit of Mt. Washington.  We also have many hikers who participate who hike a portion of the trail, to the ravine or other routes, without going to the summit.  Our goals are the same, to raise funds for cancer care and research.

My Story
Ten years ago I was diagnosed with cancer (Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma).  I still remember everything about that day, as most cancer patients will also.  From that moment on, I have been committed to beat this cancer and set an example for other cancer patients.  Anything is possible.  I am a patient of Dana Farber Cancer Institute and have seen the commitments by teams in the fight against cancer.  This is our way of supporting them and other cancer patients.

Our Climb 4 Cancer event was inspired by one of our trips to the Mt Washington region.  In hiking the trails around Mt. Washington, it became very clear that this would not only be a perfect way to give back and support fellow cancer patients, but to face a challenge head on.

Thank you for all of your support.
